Our curriculum is based on the framework established by the Singapore Ministry of Education (“MOE”). This framework was designed by the MOE drawing on leading academic research and practical feedback from industry educators both in Singapore and internationally. Our curriculum draws on the principles of this framework but is designed with our unique learning objectives and delivery methods to maximise the potential of your little ones.

1. Focus on key learning areas.
Our programs are designed to cover key learning areas which are prescribed by the MOE framework. These include Aesthetics & Creative Expressions, Discovery of the World, Language & Literacy,
Motor Skills Development and Numeracy. In addition to these Our Progams include the Little Ninjas Gym program and Speech & Drama. We believe these focus areas are
important the holistic development of your little prodigies into a well-rounded individual. For a full description of the focus areas click here
2. Thematic approach:
Research has shown that utilising a theme-based approach reinforces learning. Whichever program you chose from Pre-nursery/Playgroup through to Kindergarten,
our curriculum will cover themes over a 40 week plan. The themes change every 2 weeks and each learning area will follow the theme for the respective period.
3. Learning through Experience:
Monthly or bi-monthly field trips are planned based on the theme to bring the theme to LIFE. We have found that our Thematic Approach and Learning Through
Experience principals arouses children’s curiosity and creates a sense of wonder. This enhances their aspirations to continue to want to learn.
4. Purposeful Play: We provide an enrichment infused program which is designed more like play but helps to achieve a purpose or learning objectives. We incorporate play-based Speech and Drama, Arts & Crafts, Story-Telling, Show and Tell, Music & Movement and our Little Ninjas Gym program. This helps to ensure that you little prodigies enjoy themselves while building their confidence and communication skills and becoming healthy individuals.

His lessons are so creative and exciting that he “brings” the children into a fantasy world where they bring out the creativity and their dramatic talents. We allow the children to be free with the dialogues and acting. We would want them to be free of restrictions so that they would be able to act and deliver their dialogues with clear articulation.
Our Creative Writing Enrichment allows the children to express themselves and their ides through writing. Writing creatively cannot be taught but it can be guided. It should be guided in a way to extract the creative juices from their minds onto the paper. At Moppeteers, we do not give the children standard written paragraphs or phrases but we explain to their and “paint the picture” to the children to visualise the scenario before writing. However, we do guide them to use appropriate vocabulary to further enhance their writings. Creative Writing is not just writing, it is an ART.
Phonics is an important component of language that many overlook and have this perception that it is not essential. Phonics is the building block to proper articulated speech, spelling and understanding on how a word is formed. At Moppeteers, we teach explicitly on the pronunciation of each alphabet and how to blend the sounds together. We do it in a joyful lesson so that the children will have fun learning and understand better.
At Moppeteers, we do have foreign languages such as French and Japanese. It is always an added value to learn a foreign language. It is good to start at a very young and tender age where the children’s absorbing and learning ability is at its optimum. It’s often said that a child’s brain is like a sponge, it absorbs everything. So why not take this opportunity and let your child learn another language which will pay dividends in the future.

Our Early Intervention Programme for Specific Needs is a programme that has brought great benefit and has helped a lot of individuals from 2 years of age to those into adulthood.
Almost everyone has a specific need that needs to be addressed. These specific needs could be hindering one from learning, reading, writing, communicating or even performing daily duties efficiently. As Man evolve and many other factors contributing, children at a very age are facing many challenges especially in their education.
At Moppeteers, we understood the challenges that most face. Early Intervention, proper programme and a consistent fixed schedule or appointments would be able to help many to overcome these challenges.
These are the very common Specific Needs that are seen in School.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder is one of the most common childhood disorders. There are 3 types of ADHD

|2.||Hyperactive – A child shows symptoms of hyperactive but not attentive.|
|3.||Combination of both – A child shows both symptoms of inattention and turns hyperactive.|
A few signs or symptoms appear, it might not be probably ADHD but if the child shows a number of signs and symptoms in most situation than it would be best to take a closer look. Once the type of ADHD has been identified, we would be able to work together to help the child overcome the challenges. .

The child cannot process the sounds fast enough to understand the language. Children with CAPD need the extra assistance to process the language so that they can learn efficiently, develop language skills and follow instructions. With early intervention, goal setting and consistent sessions, the challenges faced by a child with CAPD can be outcome with promising results.
It can be associated with intellectual disability, difficulties in motor coordination and attention and physical health issues such as sleep and gastrointestinal disturbances. The condition is the result of a neurological disorder that has an effect on normal brain function, affecting development of the person's communication and social interaction skills. Some persons with ASD excel in visual skills, music, math and art. Autism appears to have its roots in very early brain development.
Cerebral palsy is actually caused by brain damage. The brain damage is caused by brain injury or abnormal development of the brain that occurs while a child’s brain is still developing - before birth, during birth, or immediately after birth. Cerebral palsy causes reflex movements that a person can't control and muscle tightness that may affect parts or all of the body. These problems can range from mild to severe. Intellectual disability, seizures, and vision and hearing problems can occur.
A developmental delay is not the same as a developmental disability. Developmental delays are not caused by lifelong physical and mental conditions. They may be signs of learning and attention issues. A developmental delay can occur in just one area or in a few such as:
|1.||Cognitive (or thinking) skills.|
|2.||Social and emotional skills|
|3.||Speech and language skills|

|4.||Displayed pervasive mood of unhappiness or depression.|
|5.||Displayed tendency to develop physical symptoms, pains or unreasonable fears associated with personal or school problems.|

They can also interfere with higher level skills such as organization, time planning, abstract reasoning, long or short term memory and attention.
We, at Moppeteers, have employed Brain Gym Techniques together with our other processes which have been proven extremely efficient and effective in helping many with specific needs together with our very own Psychologist. We will use cognitive appropriate resources and plan. These tools are patterned and designed to help with the challenges. We provide necessary services which are essential. Our Therapists work in a variety of areas such as motor skills, cognitive skills, verbal skill and auditory skills to help curb and control the specific needs. Often these therapies are ongoing but overtime it is definitely possible to see differences in both achievement and behaviour. Many a times, what is needed is age appropriate services and assistance. Once this is in place, success is only eminent. Encouragement, support and patience from Parents, Family, Friends, Peers and teachers are also essential key factor in this process.
Our only Goal is to help them perform at the optimum capacity.
